The Opportunity

This role is an exciting opportunity to manage key customer accounts and oversee operational performance across multiple regions. You will be responsible for ensuring service levels are maintained globally and building strong relationships with customers. The role involves liaising with internal departments, overseeing daily operations, and presenting KPIs and performance updates to customers regularly.

Line Manager:                 Head of Strategic Accounts

Working Pattern:            Full Time (Monday to Friday: 40 hours)

Key Role Accountabilities

  • Manage the operational performance of top-tier customer accounts across all regions.
  • Oversee daily logistics operations, including imports, exports, and courier services.
  • Establish and manage reporting processes, providing regular feedback to operational teams.
  • Ensure global consistency of service for assigned customers, not limited to U.S. operations.
  • Conduct regular monthly customer meetings (on-site or virtual) to present KPIs and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Services Manager on carrier selection and transit options for tenders.

Your Experience

We are looking for a customer-focused individual with:

  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, including regional variations.
  • Supervisory-level experience or above in logistics or account management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the aerospace industry.
