We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to support our team in Halifax,Nova Scotia, Canada. This is a full-time, first-shift position. Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers in Nova Scotia, Canada
- Ensure products meet quality and specification standards
- Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications
- Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.)
- Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects
- Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non-conformances
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods
- Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620 & J-STD W/Space Addendum
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields
- Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components
- Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)
- Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills
- Must be a Canadian citizen. With a valid passport as you would need to travel to California.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering
- 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
$32 - $34 an hour
Mileage reimbursement at the US government rate $.70. Untaxed.
