We are very excited to announce a fantastic new opportunity to join our Quality Control team based in Shildon, United Kingdom - the hub of our Aerospace business unit. This role will offer excellent exposure to participate in our laboratory support activities, testing materials at various stages of production.

Role Requirements:

• Compliance with all relevant EHS policies and standard operating procedures

• In-process and final testing of batches to required specifications

• Testing and approval of raw materials and 3rd party intermediates

•  Checking and recording of results

•  Approval of batches to fill and dispatch

•  Producing, checking and signing test reports where required

•  Checking and authorizing release documentation

•  Carrying out initial investigation of retain samples

•  Communicating progress updates and test information in the department and to other relevant stake holders

Key Skills Needed:

• Prior laboratory experience (2+ years desired) and/or degree in relevant subject

•  Manufacturing experience (2+ years desired) 

•  Communication and problem solving skills

•  The ability to work unsupervised

• Attention to detail & Documentation completion
