Overview
Paxport is a growing travel tech company transforming the digital travel experience. We provide innovative, API-first solutions for airlines and travel resellers.
The QA Tester helps to increase the overall quality of code changes being made (and released) to Paxport’s Core Products.
We currently operate manual testing on a variety of platforms, predominantly APIs and Websites.
As we evolve, there is a strong desire to implement more automation across our products and QA processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to grow their skills and contribute to the future of test automation at Paxport, while continuing to support our existing manual testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform QA within an Agile framework / sprint or from a structured list / Kanban board, focusing on new features, bug fixes, and regression testing across Paxport’s core products and APIs.
- Analyse and work with XML / JSON data formats.
- Attend relevant team and product meetings.
- Collaborate closely with the Delivery, Product & Customer Support teams to understand the scope of developments and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Log and report bugs with clear, concise descriptions and reproduction steps.
- Create and execute manual test plans for new product features.
- Actively contribute to ongoing process improvements — both individually and as part of the QA team.
- Support the long-term objective of increasing automation by identifying opportunities for improvement and participating in related discussions or initiatives.

Advantageous Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of the travel industry.
- Understanding of software testing in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with XML / JSON.
- Any exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks (even at a basic level) is a plus.
