As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading, shaping, and driving the future of pilot training systems for the next generation of aviators.
Your primary responsibilities:
Lead the AIR5428 Program Management Office (PgMO) development and task execution from initiation to completion, ensuring accountability for cost, schedule, and technical performance:
Oversee PgMO performance, emphasizing customer responsiveness.
Conduct program reviews and reporting.
Develop and maintain project artifacts (work breakdown structures, schedules, resource profiles, project management plans, and program-specific processes).
Monitor milestones and adherence to master plans and schedules.
Identify task issues, propose solutions via stakeholder consultation, and allocate necessary resources.
Foster strategic planning and innovation to achieve capability outcomes or adapt to evolving contractual needs.
Cultivate professional relationships with Lockheed Martin management, employees, customers, contractors, and suppliers.
To be successful you will ideally have experience in:
Proven experience managing and delivering projects
Experience in managing and leading teams
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or relevant discipline
Defence Industry experience or experience in civil aviation
