Lead the FRMS Program: Maintain Cargolux’s comprehensive Fatigue Risk Management System aligned with EASA regulations and implement industry best practices.
Conduct Fatigue Modeling and Risk Assessments: Use data-driven methods to identify fatigue-related risks, analyze trends, and propose proactive mitigation strategies.
Integrate FRMS into Operational Systems: Work closely with crew planning and control teams to further embed fatigue considerations into rostering systems (Jeppesen JCP/JCR) and daily operational processes.
Develop Fatigue Mitigation Strategies: Continuously design and implement measures to reduce fatigue risks across flight operations, maintenance, and ground operations.
Expand FRM Scope: Extend fatigue risk management principles to include maintenance, ground operations and expand the strategic approach to flight operations.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and maintain alignment with EASA requirements, preparing documentation and reports for audits and inspections.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in current fatigue management practices, propose enhancements, and lead initiatives to strengthen safety culture.
Collaborate Across Departments: Coordinate with safety, operations, and planning (network and crew) teams to ensure fatigue risk considerations continue to be integrated into decision-making.
Influence and Challenge Existing Practices: Act as a subject matter expert to advocate for changes that improve safety, operational resilience, and cost efficiency.
Empower Decision-Making: Use authority to recommend operational adjustments based on fatigue data and risk assessments.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
Experience: 5–7 years in aviation safety, fatigue risk management, or related operational safety roles.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of EASA requirements and FRMS principles, with proven ability to ensure compliance.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead programs, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in fatigue modeling, risk assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
Technical Competence: Familiarity with crew rostering systems (e.g., Jeppesen JCP/JCR, Concert) and operational planning processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent ability to present complex safety concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Problem-Solving Ability: Capacity to identify gaps, propose innovative solutions, and implement improvements under time constraints.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with crew planning, maintenance, ground operations, and safety teams.

Regular office hours. Occasional work outside the normal working schedule and/or working days may be required
