Explore your next role:
As a key member of the Part Sales team, the Outside Part Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales by seeking out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers. The incumbent will attend industry conferences, trade shows and other industry events to market the product and achieve set goals.
- Make in-person sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis.
- Attend industry functions, conferences, and trade shows to promote Voyageur’s suite of services with an emphasis on part sales, lease, and consignment.
- Develop an effective and productive working relationship with the Inside Sales group to process orders and customer product requirements.
- Work with the Av parts team to identify and forecast products based on industry needs.
- Generate reports and updates for management.
- Liaise with the Voyageur part sales team and Chorus subsidiaries on common opportunities for inventory purchases or other part sales opportunities.
- Prospect for potential new clients to grow the part sales business.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging a contact network.
- Identify potential new clients and the decision-makers within the client organization.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Plan approaches and pitches to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Manage customer complaints by clarifying and emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Maintain knowledge of market and industry trends to identify prospects and opportunities.
- Liaise with corporate marketing in support of leveraging brand awareness and lead creation.
- Liaise with Depot Regional Sales representatives to leverage sales and business development opportunities.
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- Post secondary education in sales or equivalent aviation part sales work experience.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- 3-5 years of part sales experience
- Past aviation experience will be considered as an asset
Eligibility:
You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
