Task Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish work on aircraft, aircraft systems and accessories in accordance with the relevant aircraft technical manuals and instructions
  • Carry out routine tasks/ checks and rectify defects on the flight line and in the hangar
  • Ensure work is carried out following aircraft manufacturer's procedures and maintenance practices
  • Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards laid out in the Cargolux Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) 
  • Signing off work using correct and approved documentation

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on aircraft mechanics
  • Be holder of an EASA AML B1 and/or B2 license, as an alternative, holders of EASA AML A license, license in progress, or un-licensed may be acceptable based on experience
  • Experience in 747-400 aircraft maintenance or 747-8 aircraft maintenance will be considered as an advantage
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience acquired in the field (after the apprenticeship/basic training)
  • Being open-minded and relating comfortably with diverse groups of people
  • Be fluent in English, other languages are considered as an advantage
  • Ability to work in team as well as independently
  • Have good, standard knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook

Working Conditions:

  • Position based in Luxembourg
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
  • The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
  • Be prepared to travel when required
  • Willing to work on shifts 24/7/365
  • Possess a valid driving license
