Platform and Data Operations (PDO) establishes the functional organization of GDC platforms, as in which system best fits the operational needs to perform a specific business process. In order to do this, PDO leads the choice of system and the coordination of changes in those systems with a network of vendors to ensure an orderly, quick and effective delivery. Additionally, PDO maintains, operates and mines for data some of those platforms and ensures smooth delivery of settlement services by the other operational units.
You will report to the Senior Manager Platforms solutions and you will be responsible for enhancement and change management of front-end platforms including SIS, E&F APPS, generating business and system solutions and deliver the development on time in meeting all the business and project needs. You must have a deep knowledge and experience of the software development lifecycle in Agile and Lean methodologies and be able to work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business solutions and project objectives.
Additionally, you will:
Manage development and enhancement of front-end platforms, while engaging concerned vendors to implement changes in platforms, test and deploy in a timely manner as agreed with business stakeholders.
Liaise with IPS Product Team, GDC functional departments and other stakeholders in delivery of high-quality business requirements and specification to deliver the required ACRs.
Maintain and manage a transparent development backlog by taking collective input to establish the optimal sequencing of deliverables.
Implement agile and lean methodology and tools (JIRA) for development and change management of the platforms.
Closely monitor the work of the vendor development team, to ensure the timely delivery according to the agreed plan and schedule.
Engage with vendors to build and maintain automated testing system of the platforms by using the IATA standard testing tools (TOSCA) and other agreed tools.
Request the vendor to conduct the performance testing and security testing following the agreed plan, review and report the test results, and make the vendor fix on time the issues detected in the testing.
Organize and lead the business user acceptance testing (UAT) of the developed functions in collaboration with other business units.
Produce and maintain a release and deployment plan to different environments (Pre-Prod, Prod, UAT) and take measures to handle the issues on time during the hyper-care period,
Responsible for a smooth handover of the developed platforms or new functions to operation, providing required trainings, knowledge transfer and standard operation process.
Control, develops and maintains all internal and external documentation of the platforms including the business requirements, technical architecture and solution, acceptance criteria and testing result, in the agreed share drives (Confluence).
University degree in a technical area (engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, etc);
8 years of professional experience, including at least 3-5 years in business and operations; Knowledge and experience of SCRUM methodology is a plus;
Strong competencies in managing complexity and in conducting internal (SMEs) and external (vendor) meetings;
Good organizational skills with the ability to effectively organize, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines;
Knowledge of current GDC platforms and operational processes and functionalities is a plus;
