Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Maintenance Training Development Instructor - Avionics  (f/m) to join Airbus’ Training Center within the Airbus Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France.

As Maintenance Training Development Instructor, you will contribute to Airbus Maintenance Training by designing, specifying and leading the development of leading-edge cost-efficient training solutions as required by Airbus Maintenance Training strategy, meeting business needs and regulatory requirements and demonstrating compliance with Airbus Maintenance Training Organization Exposition (MTOE) procedures.

You will be accountable for the On Time (OT), On Cost (OC), On Quality (OQ) completion of the activities and delivery of the outputs described below.

Your challenges:

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Development, production and content analysis ( minimum 70% of your mission):

  • Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in order to justify the content and duration of the maintenance training courses,

  • Analyzing the impact of Airworthiness Directives (AD), Design Modifications (MOD), customer and instructor feedback, safety issues, and In-Service issues in the maintenance training courses, material and means,

  • Identifying customer needs, opportunities and trends to propose innovative maintenance training products and services,

  • Participating in the creation of the theoretical (syllabus/router) and practical element (practical training record) of the courses taking into consideration Airbus Maintenance Training Reference and regulatory framework,

  • Maintaining his/her qualifications as instructor following the required continued training.

  • Assessing the selection of training means and teaching methods to cover the training objectives and producing the maintenance training specifications, including the technical requirements and pedagogical approach, for the development of the training material and training means,

  • Validating training material and training means to ensure compliance with specifications and supporting the courses approval and/or qualification.

Delivery of training courses (maximum 30% of your mission):

  • Delivering and teaching the courses

Your boarding pass:

  • At least 5 years' experience on aircraft maintenance (Part 145 environment). Mandatory requirement.

  • EASA Part 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) with at least one Airbus aircraft type endorsed.Mandatory requirement.

  • Language skills: Negotiation Level of English. CEFR C1 level minimum or equivalent. Mandatory requirement.

  • Technical knowledge/experience in Airbus aircraft types (Airframe and/or Power Plant ATA chapters)

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable and preferred qualifications:

  • EASA Part 66 B2 AML with A319/A320/A321 aircraft type endorsed (any engine)

  • EASA Form 4 or pertaining to EASA Part 147 MTO List of Instructors. Experience as Instructor.

This role will involve some travel for business worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
