Explore your next role:
The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for providing the development, review, execution, and technical support for all Voyageur heavy maintenance projects. Projects consist of both customer and company aircraft. All projects are executed within the CMP (WinAir).
Maintenance Planning
- Create tasks on a program level within the CMP (Computerized Maintenance Program)
- Apply tasks to specific aircraft within the CMP
- Create aircraft work orders based on customer requirements within the CMP
- Populate work orders and tasks within the CMP
- Prepare work packages for hangar production
- Coordinate material requirements with procurement
- Coordinate outside services/engineering and arrange purchase order for said services/engineering
- Provide technical assistance to the maintenance team throughout work scope project life cycle
- Communicate with customer to ensure expectations throughout work scope project life cycle
- Create department work orders (cost centers) for all in house off wing tasks
Project Quotes
- Review customer supplied work scope
- Audit work scope and contact customer regarding any discrepancies
Transfer data from work scope to a Project Quote spreadsheet.
- Research required labour and costing using all necessary resources
- Audit and prepare final quote
- Present and review quote with Manager, Maintenance Planning
Aircraft Storage Program
- Interpret aircraft storage requirements in accordance with manufacturer publications
- Create aircraft/engine storage work orders within the CMP
- Populate work orders with monthly storage tasks within the CMP
Manage storage program
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technician or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years in planning, organizing, and meeting deadlines, with a solid understanding of regulatory and internal processes, or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and perform under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster and maintain strategic working relationships.
Eligibility:
You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
