Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver the maintenance plan by working closely with Engineering Delivery teams and suppliers to ensure operational efficiency and minimal disruption.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and impact assessments, acting as the operational expert for systems within the assigned area (e.g., electrical, water, airside, specialist systems).
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and permit requirements, while overseeing statutory, planned, and corrective maintenance in line with engineering standards.
  • Monitor and report on performance data, audit supplier outputs, and drive continuous improvement through risk management and collaboration across teams.
  • Support minor improvement and capital projects, promote a positive safety culture, and, where required, hold the appointment of Coordinating Authorised Person.

Qualifications
  • Recognised engineering qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience managing engineering systems like chilled/hot water, fire mains, electrical distribution, baggage systems, and tunnels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills in both operational and office environments.
  • Strong communication abilities and thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Full UK driving licence, eligibility for airside driving permit, and ability to meet pre-employment checks including security, medical, and substance testing.
