You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and presentation of study results under the supervision of a dedicated mentor in the team. The task will involve modeling and assessment of hybrid-electric power distribution sub-systems like DC/DC converters, electrical drives, energy storage systems and their control, and power cables.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Studying on the Master semesters of Electrical Engineering or similar, preferable control system and power electronics background.
Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink or PLECS
Knowledge about power electronics (i.e., DC/DC converters, Battery, Inverter)
Fluency in English
Desired qualifications:
Knowledge of Aviation aspects for electric propulsion power distribution system
Experience in the design of control systems for DC/DC converters and/or Inverters for motor control (Control loop, Field Oriented Control, frequency analysis)
Self-directed, highly motivated and team player attitude
Keen listener, proven facilitation and collaboration skill
Ability to work in cross-functional global team in multi-cultural environments.
