Passionate about cooking with an eye for aesthetics and detail?

Under the supervision of the head chef, the intern plays an essential role in assisting the senior cooks/head chef with various food preparation tasks.

We have fall internship opportunities located at Hotel & Spa Le Germain Charlevoix Hotel for a period varying between 3 to 6 months starting this September 2025.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring they are measured, chopped and organized as per the Chef’s instructions
  • Work closely with kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
  • Actively seek opportunities to learn and enhance culinary skills
  • Willingness to assist in different sections of the kitchen as needed
  • Operate all kitchen equipment and conduct themselves with safety in mind at all times
  • Other task as required

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Culinary school diploma or Experience in full service restaurant
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to lift/carry/push supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time
