Home Centre Manager

Key responsibilities include:

• Organize, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the Home Centre ensuring an acceptable level of contribution. 

• Work closely with department managers to maintain an effective team with appropriate staffing, training and development.
• Provide guidance with regard to location business planning, budgeting and goal setting as they align to the overall retail goals and objectives. 
• Provide operational direction and supporting the implementation of programs and policies. Apply a broad-based level of operational knowledge, commodity direction and managerial skills to achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery.    

Who you are: 

• You have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. 
• You have 5+ years of retail management experience.
• You have experience in project estimation and lumber procurement. 
• You have building materials experience and knowledge of home and building supplies.
• You are able to work well with minimal supervision.
• You have a proven ability to solve problems and develop credible relationships with team leaders, team members and other stake holders.
