DescriptionOur Digital Future is a top strategic priority at Heathrow: Continuous airport-wide business transformation, enabled by tech. This role, reporting to the Digital Transformation Director, will lead the implementation of the evolving strategic roadmap as the head of the digital future PMO (change) capability.
The role will work closely with peers leading IT, Data, and AI strategy to implement the prioritised Digital Future Roadmap, powered by technology, data, AI, people, new ways of working, and long-term cultural change. This function will coordinate project, programme, and change resources to enable digital product leads and tech delivery teams (across Data, AI, and IT) to deliver in an agile environment.
You will need experience delivering Agile-based solutions, both within software development and in driving continuous learning and improvement across a broader programme environment.

- Providing strategic leadership and oversight of team performance and development, ensuring robust talent management, regular assessment of growth needs, and the creation and continuous review of personalised development plans
- Accountability for introducing any new process, governance and funding framework that maybe developed from to time as part of Digital Future’s ongoing organisational development to ensure the successful delivery of the Digital Future Strategy
- Leading collaborative, cross functional relationships with Heathrow’s airline customers, our regulator and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and that we meet our key obligations
- Leading the ongoing development and implementation of the strategic workforce plan developed to ensure the successful delivery of our Digital Future Strategy.
- Ensuring robust business cases have been completed, in line with our strategy framework, and validated for all initiatives where the key enablers (tech, data, people, process, change etc) have been appropriately scoped and costed
- Establishing and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, including Director and Executive-level leaders, to ensure alignment, and influence decision-making
- Leading and inspiring a highly motivated team within the Digital Future Centre of Excellence for Change.
Qualifications- Experience delivering Agile-based solutions, both within software development and in driving continuous learning and improvement across broader programme environment
- Multi-disciplined project and wider change team management
- Managing stakeholders and external relationships at the initiative, portfolio and programme level
- Delivering solutions and results in dynamic environments
- An ability to inspire, motivate and lead across not just in the function for which they have been accountable but also the business more widely, both internally and externally
- An effective problem solver with high intellectual capability, with record of applying a challenging and analytical approach to complex issues and developing innovative yet pragmatic solutions
- Experience of implementing change in an operational environment with complex stakeholders
