Role overview :

As GNC Engineer, within a human sized team of 8, you will be developing Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) algorithms for our Baguette and OB-1 launchers.

Reporting to the Technical Leader, you will ensure that the flight control software and the flight control architecture are compliant with certification, operational and performance requirements.

Your key responsibilities :

In this role, you will:

  • Define and validate control, guidance and/or navigation strategy

  • Design and validate 6DoF simulation

  • Participate in the sensors and actuators trade-offs

  • Establish launchers' performances

  • Prepare test and technical reports

Who we are looking for:

Engineer with a strong understanding of flight mechanics, your are recognized for your results orientation, your excellent problem-solving skills and the eager to work effectively in a very collaborative environment.  We also expect these knowledge/qualifications: 

Proficient in control theory (automatic control, linear analysis, Monte Carlo methods, etc.)

Solid knowledge in estimation theory (e.g., Kalman filters)

Strong foundation in mathematics (particularly in optimization or statistics)

Good physics intuition and solid grasp of point mechanics

Experience in programming with C, C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink

Good command of English

Rigorous with analytical mindset and ability to synthesize and write clearly

Interpersonal skills and team spirit

Autonomous, intellectually curious, and proactive
