Freelance Pilot

We are seeking an experienced freelance/private pilot to operate a King Air 200 on a part-time, contract basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned pilot looking for flexible flying opportunities with well-planned missions.

• Beechcraft King Air 200

Position Type

• Freelance / Contract (1099)

Mission Profile

• Domestic and international trips, including:

  • Canada

  • Miami, Florida

  • Utah

• Missions are planned in advance; schedule varies based on operational needs.

Preferred Location

• Illinois-based candidates strongly preferred, though flexibility is valued.

Requirements

• ATP or Commercial Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine Land)

• Current First Class or Second Class Medical

• King Air 200 experience

• Strong IFR proficiency

• International flight experience (Canada) preferred

• Valid passport with ability to travel internationally

• Excellent decision-making, professionalism, and discretion

• Ability to operate independently and adapt to mission-specific needs

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of the King Air 200

• Preflight planning, weather analysis, and performance calculations

• Compliance with all FAA regulations and international procedures

• Professional interaction with owners and passengers

• Post-flight duties as required

Compensation
