Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for experienced Ambi Lift Drivers to join a well-respected and successful client at Bristol Airport. This job offers a flexible working basis. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic conditions and facilities.

What's on offer:

  • Rate of pay: £12.68 once successful completion of training it will increase to £14.35
  • You must pick up a minimum of 3 shifts per week. (Shift timing examples below)

Start Dates:

Key Duties:

  • To deliver the safe, efficient, and effective passenger transportation to and from the airport & airline between designated transfer points.
  • Transport passengers with reduced mobility to and from the terminal & aircraft
  • Communicate effectively with third parties for a smooth operation.
  • The job is performed in buses that do not require a PCV licence.
  • You will be operating mainly airside, but with the willingness to work in any areas the business deems necessary.
  • Ensure that customers have a positive experience on every journey.
  • Use an automated job allocation and recording system. Full training will be provided.

Shift Hours:

Below are the shifts that will be available on the App, you must be able to work a minimum for 3 shifts per week and able to work both AM and PM shifts. This is not a full-time role.

0400am to 1200pm

1200pm to 1800pm

Rate of Pay:

£12.36 per hour and once successful completed training, it will increase to £14.25 per hour.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence, with no more than three points endorsed, maintaining regular reports for inspection.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency of both written and spoken English.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain an Airside Pass and airside driving Permit, including competency checks where necessary. This will require a full 5-year work history, the right to work in the UK and a DBS check.
  • Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to deal with people effectively and with ease.
  • A positive pro-active “can do” attitude.
  • Flexibility to work in alternate locations, this may be short notice.
  • Flexibility to work in different departments within ABM.
  • Flexibility to work additional shifts for adhoc demand and duty cover will be required, local catchment area would be advantageous.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
