Job Description

As an Electronics Engineer, you will join our team in Birmingham to support our activities within the Aerospace sector

You will work on electronics test and operational activities supporting aerospace products throughout their test and validation lifecycle. The role involves hands-on testing, fault finding, and supporting operational readiness within a regulated, high-integrity aerospace environment.

  • Location: Birmingham
  • On Site: Hybrid

  • Experience Level: Junior to mid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electronics testing and operational activities on aerospace systems and equipment
  • Support test execution, data capture, and reporting in line with defined procedures
  • Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting on electronic assemblies
  • Support test readiness and day-to-day operational activities within the test environment
  • Work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with aerospace standards

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience in electronics testing within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated environment

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
  • Proven experience in electronics test, production test, or operations support
  • Understanding of engineering documentation and quality processes

Desirable Skills:

  • Aerospace industry experience, ideally supporting OEM or Tier 1 suppliers
  • Experience with environmental, functional, or system-level testing
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards and procedures
  • Eligibility for security clearance
