Electrical Site Manager
Heathrow Employment & Skills AcademyM Group have an exciting opportunity within their Minor projects team as an Electrical Site Manager. The Minor projects team provides technical and engineering services for a range of electrical related disciplines, and activities. The role will encompass the safety, compliance, and delivery of several challenging projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager at each stage of the project, including planning, documentation management, procurement, management of labour and sub-contractors
- Ensuring excellent safety, standards and quality are maintained throughout the life cycle of the project
- Being client focused, showing excellent understanding of the scope of works and managing expectations
- Maintaining excellent communication between all departments of the internal team and wider business units
About You
- Ideally qualified with NVQ5 or above and/or 18th addition regulations, with a successful track record managing Aviation based projects
- Site experience, ability to manage work efficiently between multiple projects
- Proven project management & delivery experience within a safety critical environment
- Fully conversant with safety regulations (particularly CDM)
- Possess a strong commercial acumen with knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract, to manage day to day contract obligations
- Demonstrable experience with both the commercial & project deliverables on previous projects
- Contribute to the enhancement of the quality of delivery solutions by identifying and introducing improvement opportunities
- Share knowledge and coach other team members in order to support improvements in team’s performance
- Ability to interpret scopes, technical information and drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate the people working with you
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS Qualified
- Full Clean Driving License
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors
