As a Customer Service Representative – Part Time, you will support day-to-day airport operations across check-in, gate, baggage services, and flight coordination. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a high standard of customer service, even under challenging stress, operational, or weather conditions.
What are your responsibilities\:
Assist passengers at check-in, boarding, arrival, and baggage service areas
Operate check-in systems, issue boarding passes, manage bookings and special service requests
Handle delayed or mishandled baggage reports, provide updates, and ensure proper resolution
Support flight coordination and aircraft turnaround, including on-time performance monitoring, communication with ramp, gate, ops, maintenance, and crew, and coordination with station vendors and internal departments to ensure efficient operations
Work both indoors and outdoors, often under extreme heat, cold, or rain
Maintain a neat and professional appearance according to United’s uniform and grooming standards
Follow all safety procedures, comply with airport, and company regulations
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, ESO or equivalent required
Must have a professional and neat appearance in line with United’s uniform standards
Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Proven customer service experience in high-paced environments
Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and stand or walk for long periods
Comfortable working in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold on the ramp
Computer literacy required\: Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and internal reservation systems
Must be legally authorized to work in Spain without sponsorship
Must be available to work any shift (including nights, weekends, and holidays) as part of a 24/7 operation
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to travel to the U.S. for training if required
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Successful completion of interview and selection process required
