We are looking for a Client Service Representative to join our team in our Ottawa or Montreal office!

As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and service a profitable book of business based upon the company’s objectives and individual business plans.

Your day as a Client Service Representative

  • Gather and review underwriting information provided by customers. Update underwriting reports.
  • Obtain insurance quotes from insurers and present them to customers.
  • Review documents.
  • Prepare billing instructions and collect accounts receivable in collaboration with the accounting department.
  • Respond to customer requests for insurance certificates.
  • Follow-up and analyze policies, endorsements and invoices.
  • Assist customers with claims and follow up with insurers.
  • Organize and follow up on deliverables and deadlines for filing in EPIC.

 

Our ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role (an asset).
  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English. The candidate will work in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside of Quebec.
  • Willing to obtain a valid RIBO and/or AMF permit as part of the role.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
