Job DescriptionThis role will be responsible for the creation and operation of the F-100 Life Cycle Support Group and the Spanish Integration Test Team for the newest Armada ship class, the F-110. In this role this person will provide support to the Spanish Navy’s F-100 GSSC and will ensure the availability and operation of the SPY-7/IAFCL through the integration and test program, and sea trials of the F-110. This position will be principally located at the Lockheed Martin office inside the Navantia shipyard facilities in Ferrol, Spain. Occasional travel and shipboard riding underway should be considered part of the position requirements.
The principal responsibilities of this position are to lead the creation, coordination, and training of a Spanish Test Team in Ferrol to support future contracts with the Spanish Navy and Ministry of Defense, as well as supporting the setup and operational readiness of the LM equipment in the Land Systems Integration Center (CIST) in Rota.
- Lead and coordinate the establishment of the LM F-100 Combat System Support Group.
- Lead and coordinate the establishment the Spanish Integration and Test Team to support F-110 Program.
- Lead and coordinate the onboarding and training processes to build Spanish Team capability in integration and testing.
- Provide technical expertise/support in testing and evaluation.
- Support F-110 system integration and testing activities.
- Provide support for the preparation of technical proposals: SOW definition, requirements compliance, work scope, resources and schedule definition.
- Coordinate closely with US LM to ensure consistency in test execution and operational domains.
- Provide recommendations and status reports to the SPY-7/IAFCL Systems Engineering Lead as directed.
- Coordinate with Combat System Engineers to prepare for and conduct Combat System Tracking Test events.
- Report on test progress, anomalies, and mitigation plans to program leadership.
- Plan and prepare for the subsequent Sustainment/Life Cycle of the Spanish AEGIS fleet.

- Demonstrated experience leading teams.

- Experience in AEGIS Weapon Systems integrations and tests.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AEGIS Computers & Networks.
- Ability to discuss operational concepts related to AEGIS Weapon System.
- Prior Armada experience is a plus.
