YOUR TASKS
- Development of components (seat covers) taking into account quality, function, ergonomics, costs, and weight aspects in customer/development projects from prototypes to series production
- Ensuring uniform procedures within Economy Class and Business Class projects at relevant interfaces
- Supporting the team leader in the technological advancement of the team
- Advising customers (airlines) in the responsible projects
- Technical leadership of the optimization or new development of components, including the preparation of the necessary documentation and support in drawing creation in CATIA V5
- Creation and editing of bill of materials in the PLM system (Siemens TeamCenter)
- Carrying out the development of seat covers in collaboration with suppliers domestically and abroad

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed studies in the field of textile and clothing technology or textile management with in-depth experience in the area of seat upholstery (automotive/aerospace)
- Knowledge in the field of upholstery construction (cutting) and industrial processing of textiles as well as in the area of trimming & finishing (e.g. automotive)
- Good knowledge and experience with a CAD-3D system, preferably CATIA V5
- Experience with a PLM system, ideally Siemens TeamCenter
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- High level of independence, willingness to perform, and personal responsibility in decision-making
- Precise and structured working method as well as pronounced communication skills
