Your Tasks

  • Independent supervision of development projects in the field of aircraft seat development with regard to strength while adhering to the time and budget specifications.
  • Creation of FE models in Ansys Workbench for static simulation
  • Evaluation as well as documentation of your calculation results and presentation internally within the framework of project team meetings
  • Development of improvement measures for weight reduction as well as for compliance with the various aviation law requirements

 

Your Qualification

  • Completed studies in the fields of mechanical/civil engineering, aerospace engineering or comparable.
  • Relevant professional experience in this field as well as knowledge in the use of Ansys Workbench
  • In-depth knowledge of FEM and engineering mechanics
  • Basic knowledge of the design of aeronautical components
  • Ansys Classic, as well as knowledge of nCode and Matlab are also desirable
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Analytical thinking and high ability to work in a team
