Working as a Functional Application Manager: an opportunity you really don't want to miss. As a Functional Application Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of critical business applications at KLM Engineering & Maintenance. You will ensure that applications function optimally, provide user support and contribute to important changes and improvements. As a Functional Application Manager Level 2, you will be responsible for managing assigned applications and ensuring that they function optimally. You will support users in using the applications, implement changes and contribute to the migration of systems. In addition, you will play an active role in ensuring information security and managing change requests. You will work closely with various teams to continuously improve and maintain the applications.

Where will you be based? You will be working at KLM Engineering & Maintenance at Schiphol East, where you will be part of the team within the Information Management Organisation (IMO) Component Services department. You will work closely with your immediate colleagues in an environment focused on improving and managing critical IT systems. You will support the business in making optimal use of applications, which has a direct impact on KLM's operations.
You are able to switch gears quickly and prioritise effortlessly, ensuring the operational continuity of our applications. You take responsibility and work proactively to solve problems and support users. With your solution-oriented and customer-focused attitude, you are able to advise the business on the functional side of the applications. You ensure that changes are implemented efficiently and that users are well informed and trained. You have a hands-on mentality and are able to work well with various teams within the organisation. All of this takes place mainly from building H14 at Schiphol East. Developments are currently taking place within our organisation that may lead to a reorganisation of departments.
