Responsibilities- Work with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement business change strategies and operational improvements.
- Formulate and manage the portfolio plan, including planning, coordination, and reporting of programmes and projects.
- Use strong internal networks and awareness of Heathrow’s business planning to overcome barriers and drive strategic change.
- Lead and deliver business change initiatives that may sit outside of capital programmes.
- Act as the concept guardian throughout project lifecycles to ensure original intent and benefits are realised.
- Capture solution benefits, build robust business cases, and lead prioritisation aligned to Heathrow’s strategic vision.
Qualifications- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data management capabilities to support effective decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional and technical programmes or projects, driving delivery in complex environments.
- Excellent communication skills with experience engaging diverse stakeholder groups and inspiring collaboration.
- High proficiency in IT tools to support planning, reporting, and project delivery.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams, including virtual and cross-departmental groups.
- Skilled in creating and executing project and programme plans, supported by compelling business cases and strategic alignment.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Business change expertise supported by relevant qualifications or frameworks (e.g. Prosci).
- Project management experience or certification (e.g. APM), with a track record of successful delivery.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills across Heathrow and the wider airport industry.
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end passenger journey processes and operational impacts.
