Bartender

JOB SUMMARY

Bartender is responsible for providing professional, knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, food and beverage service in a timely manner and deliver the ultimate guest experience. They can also be called upon to perform duties of greeting, serving and bussing.

YOUR ROLE

• Set and stock the bar at the start of the shift and clean at end of the shift
• Prepare and serve all food and beverages
• Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations
• Perform related maintenance/cleaning of equipment
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of bar-top, service areas
• Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge guests even when busy
• Ensure that all equipment is stored in the correct manner, in line with all food and beverage/conference and banqueting requirements and health & safety legislation.
• All other duties as required

YOUR PROFILE

• Previous bartending experience
• Familiar with POS systems
• Excellent product knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
• Problem solving skills
• Able to work quickly and multi-task
• Have an eye for detail and strong sense of urgency
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time, lift/carry/push up to 50 lbs. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
