MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To screen passengers and baggage in accordance with the laid down procedures.
To search baggage as required.
To carry out X-ray duties.
To screen airport personnel in accordance with laid down procedures.
To produce written reports as required in accordance with local procedures.
To maintain the cleanliness of the terminal.
To assist the On Call Manager with Airport/Airline emergency procedures as published in the relevant manuals.
To assist the Airside Co-Ordinator with any Hold Baggage Reconciliation functions as required.
These disciplines require specialist training and approved training sign off.
About you
Experience in dealing with the public, in a customer service-related position.
- Demonstrate assertiveness and good leadership skills.
- Ability to establish good relationships and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to work to specified guidelines.
- Highly Motivated and enthusiastic.
- Extremely flexible.
- Ability to remain calm, assertive and methodical in stressful situations.
- Means of transport to meet the needs of the airport business hours.
Willingness to work in a shift environment (including weekends, bank holiday and public holidays)
