Description

As an Assembler here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards. You will work as part of a team to efficiently produce high-quality products that meet customer requirements. You will report directly to our ISC Operations Manager, and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location on an on-site work schedule.

 

In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring the timely and accurate assembly of products. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

 

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.

 



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assemble and test aerospace components and systems according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Follow standardized work instructions and procedures to ensure product quality and reliability
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and lead the team to high quality production within tight deadlines.

 



Qualifications

Must have 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles.

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to assembly tasks.
  • Experience with aerospace components and systems is highly desirable
