Job Description

Your mission during this flight: 

  • Developing and executing test plans for airframe structures and components, including static, dynamic, and fatigue tests. Design and prepare test jigs. Composite structure experience is a must.
  • Setting up and conducting tests in accordance with established procedures, utilizing appropriate instrumentation and data acquisition systems. 
  • Establish and maintain the certification basis for the aircraft structures, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. 
  • Review airframe designs, drawings, and reports to identify potential issues or deficiencies related to certification requirements. 
  • Working closely with design, manufacturing, and certification teams to ensure structural integrity throughout the aircraft's lifecycle. 
  • Investigating and resolving structural issues identified during testing or operation. 
  • Ensuring all testing activities comply with relevant aviation regulations and standards such as CS-23, CS-27, SC-VTOL.
  • Preparing detailed reports on test procedures, results, and any findings. 
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in aerospace testing methodologies and technologies. 

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills: 

  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years in an Airframe Structural Test Engineer role in the aerospace professional environment including composite material experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field. 
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems, instrumentation (strain gauges, accelerometers, etc.), and data analysis tools. 
  • Very good knowledge of aerospace requirements and standards like CS-23, CS-27, SC-VTOL
  • Problem Solving skills, Teamwork, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Fluent in English language
