Task Responsibilities:

Task Responsibilities: Material Receiving function

• offloading incoming trucks and vans by hand or by forklift.
• scan AWB#s and maintain a log of incoming shipment dates, ensuring oldest shipments are processed in due time.
• inspecting packages for signs of shipping damage.
• opening and unpacking shipments.
• copying certificates
• control part numbers, serial numbers and quantity in adherence to the shipper’s invoice and the Cargolux order.
• enter the receiving data into the TRAX database.
• assist as required in associated departments for which training will be provided as necessary.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

• Secondary technical education, accomplished apprenticeship in a technical field or equivalent
• Be customer focused and have a co-operative attitude
• Have good communication skills and able to work with a team
• Fluency in written and spoken English, French would be considered as a distinct advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)
• Hold a valid B class driving license.
• Have experience or at least an aptitude in forklift driving. Training will in any case be given and test passed
• The Position Holder must achieve clearly defined tasks, goals and results
• Being responsible for the adherence to all internal procedures when performing his/her duty and must use best practice at all times

Working Conditions:

• Temporary position based in Luxembourg
• Flexibility of working hours is required
• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
• The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
