Ensure the timely answering of customer sales queries, their bookings and follow up:
By prioritizing the incoming quotes as per set guidelines
By following the set guidelines in terms of price offering in order to win the quote
By swiftly responding to customers ad hoc(spot) requests utilizing the Cargolux’s tools (LEAP)
By offering multiple options on a quote, so that the customers always find a suitable one (price, time)
By coordinating special cargo with the relevant stakeholders (RM, Global Logistics, …)
By selling Cargolux’s value added services
By re-directing customers to Cargolux’s digital sales channels to increase the awareness and utilization of such channels
By assisting customers to confirm the bookings via the digital channels upon potential failure of booking
By requoting the customers if certain parameters of the initial quotation have changed
By updating all sectors of a booking pre-flight
By ensuring the booking is correctly performed, including the applicable Rates, SCC’s, Additional Charges etc.
By ensuring that bookings, subject to compliance checks are processed prior to departure
By pro-actively following up on pending offers by phone and mail
By pro-actively contacting potential customers in case of short-noticed space availability
By redirect received market information to the Sales Management
By monitoring his/her daily work based on available/provided data and dashboards.
Ensure Customer Service and Sales Activities
Deliver customer service excellence by timely responses and follow up to all customer requests
Taking care of customer complaints and issues as per given guidelines
Taking up customer issues internally with the local management and if required with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Compliance)
Report internally challenges and issues in order to achieve improvement in the general customer experience
Timely processing of incoming Product allotment bookings as per the internal processes
Handle customer allocation overbooking requests in conjunction with Route Management
Manage all required approvals for booking requests of the concerned commodity’s i.e. compliance, shoring, ok-to-forward in close dialogue with the customer
Essential Requirements For The Position:
Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on logistics or any other relevant field
First work experience is considered as an advantage
Strong written and oral communication skills in German and English
Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously
Ability to plan and prioritize work
Proficiency in MS Office
Working Conditions:
Position based in Frankfurt
Occasional travel
30 days of annual leave, vacation allowance and a 13-month salary
