The position holder is responsible for obtaining landing and overflight permits for all Cargolux and Cargolux Italia flights. This includes:

  • Filing the seasonal schedule with the authorities or agents in charge in strict accordance with the respective deadlines.
  • Filing for or updating of landing and overflight permits for charter flights, additional flights, rerouted flights or any other kind of ad-hoc operation.
  • Ensuring permits received correspond to the requests and take immediate action in case of errors.
  • Ensuring correct ATC call signs matching approvals for all flights
  • Ensuring correct flight planning system set-up for day of operations
  • Keeping the Cargolux Permit Application up-to-date with the latest landing/overflight permits received

The position holder supports the commercial departments by providing them with accurate information on available call signs and deadlines, and the operational departments in case of disruption to provide ad-hoc permits.

The position holder ensures that necessary permits are obtained in order to optimize routing on a day to day basis and keeps the flight planning system up to date with latest permits and routes throughout the season.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Education: at least a general school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level, BAC, Abitur). 
  • Fluency in English. Any other languages are an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to easily understand processes/workflows/operations.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with AIMS and/or LIDO will be considered as an advantage.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent full-time position based in our HQ in Luxembourg. 
  • Working days Monday-Friday, 5 days/week.
  • Working hours between 6 am and 8 pm.
  • Standby coverage occasionally required during weekends.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
