The Role

We’re looking for a professional and friendly Afternoon Receptionist to support our front-of-house operations and ensure a smooth experience for visitors, contractors, and colleagues alike. 

This is a part time position (20 hours), working Monday – Friday 12:30 – 16:30. You may also be required to cover additional morning shifts if our morning Receptionist is unavailable. 

What you'll be doing

 As our Afternoon Receptionist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting visitors and managing security protocols
  • Handling incoming calls and enquiries with courtesy and efficiency
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and presentable
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Issuing ID/access passes for visitors, contractors, and new starters
  • Supporting first aid coordination and emergency response
  • Booking pool/hire vehicles and managing associated paperwork
  • Providing admin support to the Site Services Manager
  • Assisting with airside access arrangements

What we're looking for

  • Organised and proactive, with a keen eye for detail
  • Confident using IT systems, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Professional and discreet, with a high level of integrity
  • Flexible and reliable, able to adapt to changing needs
  • Customer-focused, with excellent communication skills.
  • A professional secretarial or administration qualification is desirable but not essential.
