Summary:
Responsible for selling all solutions including Avionics, Radio, EW and A-PNT. As well as new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line.Duties & Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and business objectives.
* Proactively identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities within the designated territory or account base.
* Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at customer accounts.
* Conduct in-depth customer needs analysis and effectively position Viavi's products and services as solutions to their challenges.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales engineering, product management, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experience and successful solution implementation.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical proposals to prospective and existing clients.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and Viavi's product portfolio to maintain a competitive edge.
* Accurately forecast sales opportunities and maintain detailed records of sales activities in the CRM system.
* Represent Viavi Solutions UK Limited at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as required.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
* Significant progressive experience in direct sales within the telecommunications, networking, or related technology industries.
* Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and manage complex sales cycles.
* Strong understanding of telecommunications test and measurement solutions, network performance monitoring, or related technologies.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
* Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory as needed.
* Valid UK driving license and passport.
