Job title of the line manager: Program & Innovation Purchasing Director Job title of the functional manager (if any): R&T Director Responsibilities: To source the bought-in elements of innovation projects under consideration, and coordinate the gathering of innovation ideas from our suppliers. To ensure smooth forwarding of files to the program buyer when an innovation is implemented, and therefore sold to the customer.

  • Scope of activities
  • Perform some or all of the following activities: Meet the needs of the Innovation department and the AME: Daher Lab Research & Technology Upstream methods Manage purchases in the INNOVATION scope By acting as the interface with the strategic commodity buyers, R&T project managers and Daher Lab By ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality Carry out consultations and purchasing processes Coordinate the purchasing process: innovation, contractual relationship with subcontractors for the benefit of the group Maintain a watch in relation to: strategic materials (including discussions on the availability, qualification and prices of the materials concerned) and the creation of a database for cost vs quantity vs associated suppliers New high-potential partnerships, by participating in conferences, supplier meetings, etc. Propose purchasing strategies and generate framework agreements with our strategic suppliers. Participate in the selection of partners “embedded” in DAHER research projects, ensuring that they are “compatible” with the group’s purchasing strategy and our customer-supplier relations on projects under development. Activities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training.
